If you place the GPS receiver loosely on top of the duckbill, you will have reception.
Make sure that the GPS receiver has a clear view of the sky. No tall buildings around you and do not stand under a canopy or in a garage.
The first time that the GPS receiver gets a fix can take a long time, sometimes several minutes. If you are standing still, this will happen faster than when moving. Once there has been a first fix, the next time the K7 is started, there will be a fix faster.
The connector of the GPS receiver, is it properly secured?
If the problem persists, contact the seller of your K7.
