I have read the manual and the forum and I am a little confused.
If my mobile is connect to the INNOVV K6 camera, I have no Internet access. I can only access the camera to see videos and images, or to change settings.
But if I am connected to my wifi or 5G, I am not connected to the K6.
But this shouldn’t matter, as the K6 should keep running and recording. Correct?
If so, can you confirm that the following will be true –
1 Go through installation of K6 app on Android
2 install camera, powered on by ignition switch
3 turn on ignition
4 connect camera to K6 app
5 change any camera settings in app
6 disconnect Android from K6 wifi and connect to my home wifi
7 turn off bike ignition
The camera should power up next time I turn on the bike, and it should film everything according to settings. If I want to view videos, I connect to K6 wifi and view, download, etc.
Is all of this accurate and correct?

One small hint.

After changing the settings, you should close the settings before disconnecting from the K6. Reason is, that when you enter settings, the DVR stops recording. When you close settings, it re-starts recording. So if you disconnect while being in the settings, it might happen that the DVR does not record. But that is only relevant if you start driving right after changing the settings. After the next restart, the DVR will record automatically in any case.

It’s all correct.
When you connect the K6 using WiFi with your phone, your phone sees this connection as the access route to the internet. But the K6 is not a connection to the internet, it is only a ‘hotspot/wifi’ connection to your K6. This may be the reason why your phone is reporting that there is no internet connection. After all, your phone (Android) is constantly looking for a connection to the internet.
