    Hey,

I tried to get a video I captured from the cam.

I have a 500GB SD-Card installed and remember from a while back, that the app did not like it.

In the app the card is shown with 500GB storage used, but no videos appear under documents.

When I first got the cam, i was able to get my videos by accessing the cam directly from the webbrowser instead of the app, but I since misplaced the adress required.

Can anyone help me with getting to my videos without removing the SD-Card?

    Kind regards,

    nitro

    Hi Nitro,
Did you format the SD card using the Innovv?
Even if you removed the SD card from the K5 and then put it in a computer, it is recommended to format it again with the app when you put the SD card back in the K5.
The videos are also not under protected or accident videos?
The IP address of the K5 can be 192.1681.254, otherwise you can use the command ‘arp /a’ with the command window. Then you will see everything within your network.

    Hey,

not quite sure, if I had formatted the card via the app.

    Will try that soon™️.

Using the IP address, I was able to access the files and download the videos.

The cam is set to MP4 with 1min lapse time.

In the app, no videos appear in the folders, neither in protected, continuous nor accident.

    Hi Nitro,
If you want to play videos in the app you can do this under ‘Camera Files’, for this you need a wifi connection with your K5. Or you can watch via ‘Local Files’, for this you first have to download the videos.
In which format is the video recorded, .MP4 or .TS?
It is possible that your phone does not have the correct video codecs to play the videos in .MP4 or .TS format. Try installing VLC on your phone and then see if you can play the videos.

I have had the same problems for about a year and because I had a day off today, I decided to give it another try… with success.

    The symptoms were similar:

    • Cam operational
    • Wifi working, settings etc accessible in app
    • Clips visible at 192.168.1.254
    • But… no clips visible in app

The problem was (solved by) card formatting. My 256GB card was formatted exfat and formatting it fat32 worked. Probably formatting through the cam itself would also have worked, but I didn’t try that, because it now works.

Probably I messed it up myself about a year ago, because Windows 11 only has NTFS and exfat as formats, not fat32, so I used EaseUS software to do the formatting instead.

Just my 2 cents, hope you get it working.
