This was how I installed my K7 on my BMW R 1300 rs.

    1. Remove both seats, unplug if heated.

    2. Remove the tank cover, it’s in two pieces and I have added a video below showing you how to do this..

    3. Power supply, obviously connect to both battery terminals, the yellow wire is your switched live and for this I simply plugged it into a 20 amp fuse. This can be found under a cover at the junction of where the rider seat and the tank cover meet. There are only two fuses in this fuse box.

Once I had power I connected everything up and used the APP to confirm all was working.

    4. Front camera. I found this problematic, originally I had it on the screen with an L bracket but moved it to the side of the fairing using the metal plate and two sided tape. Neither is ideal but the best I could find. I’m not a fan of the camera holders, there is simply not enough variety of camera positioning/movement on them making fixing locations hard to find. Also once in situ trying to fine tune the camera position is a nightmare as they are so difficult to move in the bracket.

    5. Remote. I fitted this using an L bracket on top of the rear brake fluid reservoir.

    6. GPS sensor. I fitted this at the front of the bike below the small piece of the tank protector, however I may need to move this as I don’t think it is getting a signal. I was under the impression it does not need line of sight but I may be wrong.

All of the cables for the above were run down the side of the fuel tank back to underneath the seat and the DVR.

    7. DVR. Simply left it tucked under the cross bracket beneath the seats. There is not a lot of room there so check your seats will go back on once the DVR is in place.

    8. Rear camera. I used an L shaped bracket under the rear of the bike and fed the cable back through the rack and down a channel underneath the rear seat.

    9. Tidy up your cables as best you can, again not a lot of room.

    10. Power up, connect to WIFI and double check all is working and use the APP to align your cameras.
