Just purchased the K7. Having a problem getting power to the unit. I currently run my auxiliary devices (spot lights, heated grips etc) through a Relay unit which is connected to the battery and a powered source on the motorcycle. They are all connected and showing power. So I ran my K7 red and black wires to the same relay but the K7 wont power on.

Anyone know what the problem might be?

Have you connected yellow wire to a live feed as well

As you need both live wires for unit to work

I connected the red and black to the relay which was getting power once the engine was on. I’ll try connect them instead directly to the battery.

The K7 always needs a constant power supply on the red and black wire. The yellow wire needs a switched power supply to switch the K7 on and off. If you let the red and black wire switch, this will certainly cause problems. So connect the red and black wire to the battery, or at least a constant power supply (even when the ignition is off) and let the yellow wire switch (could be via the relay)
