    Hi Jeff,
    How and where did you connect the yellow wire?
    This is the wire that switches the K5 on and off via a contact-switched power supply. If the power on this wire does not switch, the K5 will not turn on.

    How did you connect the red and black wire?

    Have you tightened the (power supply) connectors properly?
