I think it is sorted but I am not quite sure why it has worked.

Just an update i re checked the wiring and due to the cable run i had to use the camera with the long cable for the front. The manual says this is for the rear so i swapped the plugs round to the front camera is on the rear and the rear is on the front and now it looks to be working and it is showing on the app setting page.

Should this matter?

I have had the K7 a month cannot get it working. I tried changing the SD cards, re formatting the SD both via PC and App and nothing works. It works for a a very short time then the camera led starts flashing slowly.
