    Front Camera small metal plate

    I have just installed the K6 and a small metal plate dropped to the floor from the front camera when I removed the cables to install the SD card – see pic. It can fit either way up between the camera body and the connection, but either way seems to leave a gap into which water could drip. Can someone point me in the right direction please? It does not feature in the schematic in the printed ‘manual’. Thanks

    Hi Peter,

    I still have one of the first K6 versions myself; it doesn’t come with a plate like that.
    I’m guessing that it goes on the back of the connector, so on the cable side. It could be a modification that prevents the two screws from easily falling out of the connector. But as I said, it’s just a guess of mine. So it’s a matter of trial and error to see if this is the case.
