I have just bought the SC6 system and my BMW R1250RS doesn’t have a great deal of mounting options (I’d rather have the camera mounted at the front of the bike than on one of the indicators so that it captures both sides of the road). I do however have a GoPro mount at the front of the bike, and if there was a GoPro mount available then I could use that which would be ideal. If you come up with a prototype and want me to test it for you – no problem, I have a 3D printer 🙂

I’d also like to fit a lens protector on the lens to avoid it getting scratched / pitted over time – if you produced those I’m sure people would be keen to buy them.

Thanks and look forward to trying out my new kit anyway.

    Hi Oliver,
You can buy a lens protector here.

I have been driving around with multiple Innovv cameras for many years and have not needed a lens protector yet. Maybe I have been lucky so far, but the Innovv lenses are also of good quality.

Perhaps there are various GpoPro mounts 3d designs available on the internet and you can print a mount yourself.

Thanks! I also found that seller but he’s US based so delivery will be a pain. But thanks for your comments re. the INNOVV system’s hardiness, I was originally looking at installing in the front wheel well but now that I’ve sited the camera elsewhere I will probably just use it as is.

Thanks! I searched but did not find. That photo looks a bit odd though, the hoop is through the mount somehow.

In the event I did find a suitable 3D printable holder; the Innovv one is probably metal however, so might be better. If mine breaks I will consider – or just print another one… 🙂

    Hi Oliver,
Thanks for the feedback. Ideal to have a 3D printer yourself for these kinds of solutions.

    Have fun with your K6
