App questions, view selection and orientation
Hi again,
Every time I open the app I have to go and reselect the rear view only as I kind of use the rear camera as a rear mirror. But it is very annoying that I have to do it every single time. It should be set to default but it is not working as such. Now I have a Samsung and I tried to automate the process once the Innovv wifi is connected, but again the app doesn’t support automation of functions inside it, I can only have the app opened automatically, yet then I still need to go again and manually choose the rear view and landscape orientation.
By the way, I also wonder why the landscape orientation is not the default for this app, logicalky it would allow maximum screen utilization during use. That’t why I choose it. And here again, I tried to automate this through Samsung routines but when the Innovv app opens it messes the orientation and turns it back to portrait isntead of the app going into landscape, which is very frustrating.
If these 2 things would work they will make my life much easier.

Hi Ahmad,
In the app, under “Preview Default,” you can specify which image you want as the default. Here, you can choose rear.
The app is actually only intended for configuring the K6 and downloading video recordings. Therefore, only portrait mode is possible.
Furthermore, the K6 has a delay in the video image. So, I wouldn’t recommend using it as a mirror. But that’s a choice you have to make yourself, for your own safety.
