Does anyone know of a circular polarizing filter that is available to fit on the front of the K7 cameras? I have a lot of glare from my windscreen that I think would be eliminated with one of these.

I’d be fine with aftermarket if an Innovv one isn’t available. I cant seem to find one anywhere that might work or work with simple modification.

    Hi PFM,

I think you should get creative and do some DIY. Maybe a polarizing lens from a GoPro and make something yourself with a 3D printer. https://tinyurl.com/5ydehxby

Do keep in mind that a polarizing filter also removes a significant amount of light. So your recordings will become darker and the image quality may therefore deteriorate.

Additionally, the ‘viewing direction’ relative to the reflecting light is also important, as is how you rotate the polarizing filter to the correct angle.

There is also a chance that if you place a filter in front of the lens, the lens will become visible in the corners of the video image. This is due to the wide field of view of the K7.
