Hello, Just got my K6 yesterday and haven’t had a chance to install yet but did set it up on a table and plug it in and get it working. I have questions about loop setting? I would like a video of the whole ride, Is it better to turn loop off and just let it record or what exactly will I end up with in that setting? Or would it be better to set for 5 minutes and then I would have to edit the videos after download? Also is it possible to download over Wi-Fi directly to my computer or do have to remove SD card for download to computer? I searched around and could not find answers so any help is appriciated.

    Thanks

    Hi Steven,

You can simply enable the Loop Recording Duration. The video will then be divided into separate video fragments with the length of the set loop time. Another advantage of loop recoding is that the recordings are made according to FIFO (first-in-first-out). This means that the oldest recording is overwritten by the newest recording. This prevents the K6 from stopping recording when the card is full. With a 256GB SD card, you have more than enough storage for many videos. The duration setting depends on what you want to do with the recordings. Do you want to work with many short recordings, or fewer but longer recordings? The choice is yours.
Please note that the K6 must remain on while downloading the videos and that the Wi-Fi timer must be disabled. In addition, the 2.4GHz connection isn’t the most optimal speed for downloading videos, especially if you want to download multiple videos at once. In that case, it’s better to insert the SD card into your computer. This is easier and faster.
