Controller unit indicator light flashes rapidly after power off
The unit is installed on my 2021 BMW 1250RT, wired direct to battery for main power and to the switched accessory plug for the on/off sensor. It worked fine for about 4 weeks – switching on and off as expected, recording video in both cameras, and with the radar performing as expected.
However, on an outing without any changes since the last, when the bike was switched on the lights continued flashing and the unit beeping unexpectedly. This stopped after a few minutes but then restarted after 2 miles of travel. I disconnected the blue connector and the flashing & buzzing stopped.
I also noticed during diagnosis with the connection reconnected, that when switched off the control unit indicator light flashes in 1 second intervals and never seems to stop until the bike is powered up again.
I just checked all connections and voltages and they seem fine – 12.3v from the battery and around 9v from the switched accessory plug.
Can anyone help please?

Hi James,
It is normal to hear beeps during startup.
It is possible that the 9V from the switched power supply isn’t sufficient for the RC6 to switch correctly. The 9V level might place the RC6 right at the on/off switching threshold, causing it to behave erratically. Could you connect the yellow wire to a switched power supply that provides around 12V?
