My son purchased the N1 Pro and the screen got cracked. He was told to purchase a new one and they would give him a 10% off coupon. In this day and age, this seems crazy. Another $290 after spending $320.

I work in IT and on a daily basis I replace every possible piece that is broken on all types of technology. It should be a no-brainer that Innovv offers replacement parts at an affordable value, especially for a screen on a bike where it could get vandalized.

Innovv please read up on The Right to Repair (https://www.repair.org/). Also look into sites like iFixit (https://www.ifixit.com/) which would be more than happy to help users repair their devices.

    Hi Matt,
I completely understand your feelings and ideas about repairs. I also regularly encounter the inability to repair equipment.
Unfortunately, Innovv is a Chinese commercial company, and I don’t expect them to be impressed by The Repair Association anytime soon.

It will also be difficult for Innovv to trace whether a repair claimed under warranty was caused by improper repair work. On the other hand, many suppliers want to maintain a high level of quality and avoid the risk of damage (material and immaterial) due to “uncontrolled” repairs. I see this particularly in the medical technology sector where I work.
