    Hi Tony,
Download the latest firmware from the Innovv website and install it: https://innovv.com/pages/k3-dashcam-support
Everything will then be reset to factory settings, and your password will be reset to the default password of 12345678.

I have fixed the password error.. 1st, i found a K3 bin file i had downloaded in Oct 2025 (i don’t think it has changed since). 2nd, I re: formatted the SD card again in FAT32, then i opened the SD card and dragged and dropped the K3 bin file into it. 3rd, with the motorbike ignition off I disconnected the power to the K3 cam module and “then” inserted the SD card into the K3 module under the seat. 4th, I reconnected the K3 cam modules power and turned on the motorbikes accessories, the K3 module began to install the bin file “the green video camera icon began to flash fast”. I waited 5 mins for it to completely install. Then using password 12345678 it worked.

    Hi Tony,
Do you see the K3’s Wi-Fi network (something similar to INNOVV_K3_xxxx)?
Are you connecting with an Android or iPhone? iPhones sometimes have trouble connecting. In that case, I recommend putting the iPhone in Airplane mode and manually connecting to Wi-Fi.
Which version of the Innovv app are you using?
Do you have a VPN or antivirus/firewall enabled on your phone? If so, disable them.

Downloaded the BIN file and installed it on the SD card after reformatting per Peters instructions. The camera, front and rear are now working and storing vids on the card. I can see the wifi link in my list but when I try and access the wifi am stilling getting password (12345678) not recognised. Any other suggestions appreciated please. Cheers Tony

      Hi Tony,
Could you install the app on another phone and see if it works then? This is to rule out whether the problem is with the K3 or the phone.
Are you using this app, as shown in the image? Have you also granted the app all the necessary permissions?

The problem seems to be connecting it to wifi. The camera is working OK and recording

Can you see the K3’s Wi-Fi network on your phone?
Are you having the same problem with another phone?
What does the blue Wi-Fi LED indicate? Is it lit continuously? Does it flash, and if so, how often and how quickly?

Hi Hans, thanks for your replies its really appreciated. Just spent ages trying to sort it. I’ve tried on my phone and my tablet, done factory resets and a ‘hard’reset. I’ve ‘forgotten’ the network and reconnected, tried it with card both in and out. Always I get the same message saying password incorrect. The camera is connected and working fine. The blue wifi icon keeps flashing at about 1 second intervals. Totally baffled. Cheers Tony

    Hi Tony,
I think you’ve tried everything possible. It’s also possible that the K3 has a defect that’s preventing it from working.
One last try? Try connecting to the K3 via Wi-Fi with a laptop. Use the laptop to find the K3’s Wi-Fi network and try connecting to it. The password is 12345678.
If you connect, open your web browser and go to 192.168.1.254 and click on INNOVVK3. You’ll then see the K3’s folders.
If all this works, the K3 is working fine, and the problem is most likely with your phone.

      Hi Hans,

Tried with a laptop same thing – says unable to connect password incorrect. 😢

Is it worth contacting the manufacturers (or even possible??)

      Cheers

    Hi Tony,
You could try contacting the seller.
Certainly if it’s still under warranty.

      Hi Hans,

Finally resolved the issue, Joey from INNOVV has been messaging me and told me to use an SD card smaller than 32GB (which I’d been using). I did so and it connected immediately and accepted the password. All now working properly.

Many thanks for all your help its been much appreciated.

        Hi Tony,
Great that the problem has been solved and you can enjoy your K3 again.
I was aware of the issue with the 32GB SD card firmware update. However, I thought this had already been resolved in the latest firmware versions and that you could also use larger SD cards to update the firmware.
Okay, Innovv mentions the FAT32 format on their website for the K3 firmware update, but it isn’t clear that an SD card of up to 32GB is recommended in that case.

Anyway, you can continue with your K3.
