INNOVV not responding
Posted by mare on 2025-07-16 at 05:39Hello.
I have a problem with my INNOVV K7.
I purchased the product on 11/11/2024.
A month ago I noticed that the loop recording was not working, but it was fine. I simply deleted the old recordings and told myself that I would solve this problem another time.
I installed a SanDisk 1TB.
Today, 15/07/2025, I noticed that the INNOVV K7 is no longer responding.
I checked everything. The DVR is powered on, but it is not responding. I also cannot connect to the Wi-Fi network.
No lights are on on the remote control.
What can I do?

I believe the SD card has a maximum of 256gb. Can you try a smaller card?

Yes. I wrote it wrong. I had 512 GB installed.
Just like it says on website INNOVV. (that it supports 512 GB sd card)
I tried that too.
I put 128 GB in and I also tried without sd card.
The device does not respond in any case.

Hi,
Check the silver connectors at the dvr. Despite the locking screw they can work loose.
Whilst there, it is worth disconnecting & re connecting all 6 cables, checking for water ingress ect.

Hello.
INNOVV should turn on even without an SD Card, right? There is no response from INNOVV. The lights on the remote don’t turn on either. The G-sensor doesn’t turn on even when the engine is moving.
I can’t connect to wifi.
Everything worked before.
I checked the voltage. The power cable from the battery to the rear connector to INNOVV is fine. It is 12v. That is, the fuses are ok.Even when I remove the SD card and then plug the INNOVV into power.
No response. Nothing.Everything has worked ok so far. It was recorded. The last recording was made on 9.7.25 while driving. That day, after that time, there were still about 2 hours of driving.
The card was not full (only half of the space was occupied)
Water is not a problem either. I don’t drive in the rain.

Old recordings from the card work.
I have now formatted the card.
I have disconnected the INNOVV from the power supply. Inserted the card, plugged it back in and nothing. No response.

Hi Marko,
It is recommended to only format the SD card using the Innovv app. A card formatted with a computer sometimes cannot be properly processed by an Innovv camera.
What setting did you use for ‘Loop Recording Duration’? Is this option enabled? If not, then old recordings will not be overwritten.
How did you connect the power supply? Where did you connect the yellow wire? Is this a switched power supply?
If no lights come on on the remote control, how do you know the DVR is on?
Without an SD card, the K7 should turn on.
If you disconnect each component in turn (camera, GPS receiver, etc.), does the K7 turn on? A faulty component could prevent the K7 from starting up.-
Hello
The camera worked. Everything was connected correctly.
Black cable to negative, Red to positive, yellow to key switch.
The G-sensor worked too. The only thing I noticed before was that it wasn’t working Loop-recording. I don’t know why…….. but I deleted the old recordings and left it like that. I didn’t have time to deal with it at the time. But it was set to Loop recording.
9.7.25, while driving, it stopped working.
And it hasn’t worked since then.
(I know because I last drove on 9.7. until around 7:00 PM, and the last recording is from 5:37 PM. From then until 15.7. I wasn’t at the motorcycle. On 15.7., a colleague came to look at 1 recording, where things were a bit tight and I noticed that the recording wasn’t there…..)
Nothing. No lights on the remote either. I can’t connect to wifi.
Regardless of the SD card….. I removed it, but still nothing.
I don’t know if the DVR is on. We just checked the voltage. There is voltage from the battery to the last connector to the DVR – 12v. But if the DVR then gets voltage (those last 20 cm / from the connector to the DVR) we can’t check. (Is the thing made so that you can’t check this)
I tried everything…. Disconnected individual components in order. first the first camera, then the last, then the microphone, then the remote,……. nothing. No response from the DVR. Left it disconnected from the voltage for 2 hours (if I did a restart), still nothing.

Hi Marko,
I think you’ve tried everything by now and the conclusion might be that the K7 is defective.
Since your K7 isn’t even a year old, I believe you’re still entitled to a warranty. But you’ll have to discuss that with the K7’s seller.
