Internet connection
Just taken delivery of the H5. Indoor test to check it all works, so far so good. I am not a techy so have please humour me. My question is , why do I need to phone link, connection once the camera is recording? Does this mean that I have to have the phone with me at all times when I wish to use the camera?

Hi Pete,
You don’t need to pair your phone to record videos.
A connection to your phone is only needed for:- Mounting your H5 on the helmet, you can then see live whether you have placed the H5 at the correct angle.
- Setting up the H5.
- Downloading videos.
So you don’t always need to have your phone with you.
