Just when I needed it ! Missing last 10-15 secs of each three minute recording.
I have the recordings set to three minutes but on both the front and rear cameras there is 10-15 secs missing from each recording at the end. The cameras have worked flawlessly and I’ve never had an issue with recordings missing – it just appears to be the end of each segment.
Unfortunately an incident occurred today and only the first 2 seconds of the incident were recorded as it happened at 2:43 into the three minute period. Murphys Law! First time I’ve really needed the footage and it is not there.
SD Card is a Samsung EVO Plus 256GB and as mentioned never had an issue with it.
Grateful for any advice or suggestions. All I can think is the system is busy writing out the file and can’t record and write at the same time but that seems odd – it would mean you definitely don’t have continuous recording.

Hi Andrew,
Have you been using the SD card for a long time? If so, it is advisable to format it once using the app. The index system is then reset. This can improve the speed of the SD card. If this does not help, can you test with another card? It can happen that an SD card starts to deteriorate, causing the write/read performance to deteriorate.
In principle, you should not miss any images between recordings.-

Reformatted the card and now I am getting some at 3 mins (correct) but some around 2:30 and some around 2:45. So actually less consistent than before which is very strange. Would you be able to advise what SD you are using and I will try another brand. I am currently using Samsun EVO Plus 256GB.

Interestingly I just pulled this link from the Innovv site – they use the same card type (which is probably why I’m using it!)

I also use these sd cards without any problems.
Are you able to test with another sd card. This is to rule out the SD card as the cause of the problem.-

Bitrate: Maximum
Loop recording: 3 min
Format: TS
