    Hi

Want to check on settings for first time in a year or more but my K7 is not showing as a WiFi network on any Android phone or tablet in the house. Resetting via the button, turning off data/flight mode/auto connect to home WiFi makes no difference as the K7 is still not listed as a connection point.

How do I resolve this please?

Hi Trevor – I finally got mine working by using my phone in airplane mode and making sure there were no wifi connections set to auto connect. Also, make sure you are not auto logging into your home wifi. Then when the K7 was enabled it’s wifi connection showed in the list. Be sure to use the default password the first time you connect to it if you haven’t already changed it. It is 12345678. Good luck.

    Hi Trevor.
What do the LEDs on the remote control indicate? You can see that the K7 starts up properly, right?
If you read the SD card (on a computer), can you see that both cameras are recording? It is possible that if one of the cameras has become defective, the K7 will no longer start up properly, and consequently, you will not see a Wi-Fi signal from the K7.

Thanks for the suggestions Simon but as noted in my opening post I’d already tried all those setting adjustments.

Hans, your suggestion of trying the card in a PC was very helpful. It showed the last video recorded was suspiciously when the bike was in the dealer for the year 2 service… But, I was able to see that the card was completely full, so deleted most of the older files and popped the card back in the unit. Bingo, the WiFi network was right there as soon as I turned the key on. Will go for a spin soon and make sure it’s recording and will reformat the card a bit more often.
