    Hello, my K3 operated just fine until this morning. I noticed the remote was not illuminated at all. GPS, WIFI etc. all voltages to the converter was12+vdc. All connections checked. The main box was warm. With key off, I get a solid red light. Key on, I get a flashing blue light. I tried external power to the large box from a power bank. Nothing.

    Hi Jerry,
    Are all the connectors properly connected and are they also dry on the inside? Is the DVR box also dry?
    A solid red light means that your battery voltage is too low for the parking mode function. When you turn on the ignition, do you get voltage on the yellow wire? If you connect a power bank, have you disconnected the DC converter?
    If you read the SD card, can you see that recordings are being made? Do you see the K3’s wifi network on your phone when you turn on the ignition?
    You can disconnect all components (remote control, GPS receiver, camera, etc.) one by one to see if the K3 works again. This way you can rule out whether one of the components has become defective and therefore does not allow the K3 to start up.

    Hello and thanks for the quick reply. I have disconnected each item in turn with no change on the remote. I have disconnected the converter so only the powering is supplying power. The large box gets very warm. The remote remains powerless. I have not checked the card yet.

    Hi Jerry,
    The K3 can get a little warm. But if it gets very warm, this is not normal.
    I suspect that there is a problem in the DVR. To be sure, I would disconnect the DVR from the power supply and contact the seller of the K3. Perhaps something can be claimed under warranty.
