  loses the date

  Hi, the camera has lost the date setting on several occasions. It resets to the year 2000 and then stops counting forward. I’ve reformatted the SD card and even tried a different card, but after a while, it loses the setting again.

  I’m wondering if the voltage drops too low when I start the motorcycle and if that’s the root cause, though I do find it strange.

  As it stands, I don’t dare rely on it to record during an accident, which is what it’s supposed to do. I have to check that the date is correct before I drive, which is completely unsustainable. So, I’m thinking about switching to a Chinese model that’s cheaper and actually works.

  I have the latest software installed, and the motorcycle is a KTM 1290 SAS.
