  • Losing wifi connection

I have recently purchased the K6 dash camera and have it installed on my bike. It connected to wifi and had several recordings; however, noticed it wasn’t recording all the time. I have since realized that for some reason it is losing connection to wifi. Camera is mounted less than 2 feet away and utilizing a scan disc micro sd card with same specs as whats sold for the units. I have changed the settings on my iphone 14 as suggested: Disabled wifi assist; turned off private wifi address; formatted micro sd card through app. I further put my phone on airplane mode and it lost connection after about 30 seconds. I’m not getting any msgs related to the sd card…any help would be greatly appreciated.

Getting proper voltage/amps. I do see that the wifi active duration in the app is set to 3 minutes, with an option of 1, 3, 5 minutes. Should this be set to 5 or set to “on” in general?

    Hi KC,
When does the camera stop recording? Do you check this using the app, or are you missing recordings on the SD card?
The Wi-Fi timer setting doesn’t affect how recordings are made. It only affects how long the K6’s Wi-Fi is active.
The Wi-Fi connection can also drop if the power supply isn’t sufficient. How do you power the K6?
When you start missing recordings, does the K6 shut down/reboot?
