Are you sure the camera is recording?

Hi Karl,
When you watch videos through the app, are you watching the videos stored in the camera (Camera Files) or the videos you’ve downloaded (Local Files)?
What steps do you take to watch the videos?
When you read the SD card on a computer, do you see that recordings are still being made?
Also, if there are many files stored on the SD card, it may take a little longer for the video files to appear in the overview of saved videos.

Thanks for replying. I’m trying to watch the videos in the document box. I can get a live stream so I know it is recording. The way my camera is fixed to my bike it would be much easier to retrieve the videos to my phone rather than removing sd card each time. It used to work, now I’m getting nothing even after waiting a few minutes. Just looks like an empty folder. I’ve tried clearing the cache too.

In the documents folder, you should have 2 folders. One called “Camera files” the other called “Local files”. Are you looking in the “Camera files” folder?

Hi Adam. Yes, I’m definitely looking in the correct folder. It was showing the files when I first had the system running, but they don’t show up now. The very large memory card is now showing full but that’s presumably as it’s filled and is now overwriting the earliest files. It’s just not displaying any of them, even if I leave it a good few minutes to refresh.

Hi Karl. That sounds very annoying.

Have you tried uninstalling the app and re-installing? Or maybe try on a different phone? Is there plenty of free storage space on your phone?
