But can you give more information about how you try to play the video? Please describe step by step what you do.
So please give as much information as possible. The more information, the better we can hopefully help you.

Hi, I select the video clip, download it, I’ve tried to play it using VLC and video player and it doesn’t play.

Is it possible that your phone does not have the correct drivers/codec for .MP4 files?
Have you also tried recordings with a different resolution/bitrate?
Can you check whether you can play the videos with a different brand/type of phone? This is to rule out whether it is your phone or something else.
If necessary, I can send you an MP4 file to check whether you can play it.
