    Hi there:

Recently purchased the RC6 System and I am experiencing a high operating temperature of the Radar Prove/Rear Camera and have not been able to find the reason or problem. Re-checked all cables and connections and are according to the instructions. As it may be appreciated the cameras are mounted in very well ventilated areas. Front camera 102.2 f and the rear 120.7 f they are really hot to the touch and not warm as an electronic component may be. Once it gets to a high temperature it stops recording and a message appears to the effect that the system should be re-connected although it won’t until it cools down.

Would appreciate any suggestion/recommendation to that effect since the system originally operated and recorded videos were very clear. I am still satisfied with the product and would not like to return it.

    Thanks

    Kiki

    Hi Carlos,
It is true that the cameras can get warm. But as warm as you measured is not good. You can always disconnect a component to see if this solves the problem. If so, then the component in question may be the cause of the problem.
In any case, I advise you to contact the seller of the RC6 to claim this under warranty.
