Reset factory settings….
OK, so I turned on the ignition and left it on. The camera turned on. I managed to find my way to the Innovv programme on my phone and it was connected. I went to ‘documents’ and chose camera video files. There was a delay of about 5 seconds, then the entire list of videos came up, I selected one to play, on the phone, it cannot play it back – the video clip is about 13Mb, so there is information on the card.
Having read about the factory reset, I pressed and held the button on the front camera for 30 seconds. The red light glowed solid for 20 seconds and then went out.NOW, the system is dead. When I turn on the ignition no lights come on the camera, despite waiting 30 seconds. I tried turning the camera on manually and still nothing by pressing the button. It is wired into the bike battery, power source is not the problem.
I tried to reconnect my phone to the camera, but it says the password is incorrect – it is on ‘auto reconnect’ and the password is saved within the system.
I really am at my wits end with this whole thing. I am beginning to think it is a very expensive mistake.

You can perform a factory reset by:- Switching on the K6
- Press and hold the power button for a long time (approximately 30 seconds)
- The red LED flashes twice and then turns off again.
- Restart the K6; the K6 has been reset to factory settings.

Hans – thank you. That is what I did last night. How do I get the K6 to turn on again please? It won’t turn on with the ignition and nothing happens when I press the button. It is dead to the world.

You can try powering the K6 via the USB cable.
Make sure to connect a USB power supply/power bank with a capacity of at least 2Ah.Is the fuse in the cable to the DC converter still intact?

I fired the engine up and have got the lights to work again – red and green.
Now going to try this bin file thing… buggered if I can remember the instructions between computer and bike though!
