OK, so I want to save a particular section of footage, not resulting in G sensor saving, how do I go about it on the go? A bit of footage you don’t want over written but that doesn’t get automatically saved. Say, a close shave or a road rage incident – or even you capture someone else’s incident and the footage will help the Police or them – a robbery taking place for instance.
How would you go about saving that 3 minute section so it is easily findable please?

Easiest way, would be to connect via phone app and download clip.

    Hi Simon,

You can protect the ongoing recording from being overwritten by short pressing the button on the K6. However, there is a chance that you might not protect the recording you want to protect. For example, if you have set the loop recording to 3:00 minutes and you see something happen at 2:59 minutes and you are just too late to press the button, you risk protecting the next recording.

So, the best thing to do is to download the recording to your phone or read the SD card on your computer whenever you see something happen that you want to save. Incidentally, if you use a 256GB SD card, overwriting will not happen quickly. There is sufficient storage space available on the card before the recordings are overwritten. This therefore gives you ample time to secure the recording.
