    Innovv K7. Help!<div>
</div><div>Does anyone have this camera system and if so can you help me understand it. I have it installed, but it seems to record videos when it feels like it. I have it set to 5 min loops. I was under the impression that it would continue recording and saving the 5 min videos the entire time I am riding? It doesn’t seem to be doing that. I get a video when I’m first starting up the bike, then again 40 mins late.</div><div>
</div><div>I’ve tried to test out the remote, which I thought would save the current 5 min loops to the protected videos folder, but I’ve pushed that button at random times to try it out and then when I get home the videos are not in the protected videos folder.</div><div>
</div><div>I also don’t understand the automatic video capture function when you have an accident. I have a fast stop because someone in front of me stopped short and when I checked the accident folder it had in fact recognized the fast acceleration change, but the video it had saved was the 5 min clip after the short stop, not before. If that had been an accident it would have simply saved a video of my laying on the ground which would have been useless for evidence. </div><div>
</div><div>When I went to the continuous videos folder to look for the video leading up to the short stop, it wasn’t in there. </div><div>
</div><div>Maybe I am not understanding how this thing works. If someone has this system, please help. I’ve spent a lot of money and time on it, and I’m considering ripping it out and sending it back. </div>

I have reached out to customer service and got now reply. This company seems like a terrible choice

I have a k7. I only checked after 2 rides and all was stored.

For the accident detection, I believe it’s only “luck” that will save the video segment when the accident happened. You might just be at the end of the previous 5 minutes and it decides to lock the next one. The solution for accidents:
    – have a very large microSD card.
That way even if your motorcycle is towed and someone does not turn off the ignition (or the towing keeps triggering what looks like accident), the innov will turn itself off once the battery is low enough. Hopefully by then it will Not have overridden your accident video, and when you are back from the hospital and get your motorcycle, the video is there.

    Hi Samuel,
In which folder are your videos saved? Check all folders, you will probably also find your video in the Accident Videos folder. If this is the case, then your G-sensor is set too sensitive.
The K7 automatically records videos continuously. This with the length that you have set with the Loop Recording Duration. If the yellow wire is connected correctly, the K7 will automatically start recording when you turn on the ignition of your motorcycle.
To save a protected video, you have to hold the button on the remote control for about 2 or 3 seconds. The LED with the camera symbol will then flash quickly, 2x per second.
The wrong accident video can happen if the triggering of the G-sensor just happened at the beginning of the new video, for example in the 1st second of the next video.
The recording for the fast stop, can’t be found in any folder?
Did you format the SD card in a computer or with the help of the Innovv app? The latter is advised to prevent problems with the SD card.
Usually, after an accident, the battery of a motorcycle is disconnected. This is to prevent fire due to short circuit, for example. From the moment it is disconnected, the K7 will no longer record and the recorded videos will no longer be overwritten.
With a 512GB card, you do not have to worry that activating the parking mode by towing your motorcycle will overwrite the recordings.
Which customer service did you contact? With Innovv.com or with another dealer?
