    Tyre sensors indicates incorrect pressure

Posted by Alison on 2026-05-22 at 21:53

I’ve just installed my N2 but one of the tyre pressure sensors is reading incorrectly, I’ve double checked the tyre pressure which is correct but displays 5psi below the actual pressure. Any ideas how to sort this?

    Hi Alison,
When you go for a ride, does the pressure still show the wrong value?
What if you remove the sensor, temporarily remove the battery, then put the battery back in and place the sensor back on your wheel?

Hi Hans thanks for that. I haven’t ridden yet – been flat out at work. I’ll try what you’ve suggested and see how it goes.

I have noticed this as well, i think it holds the value of when it last connected to the pressure module, I rode home yesterday from work in this crazy heat we have and the rear pressure was showing 41 when i parked up.

This morning it still showed 41 but after around 10-15 secs on the bike it came back down to normal values

    Hi Mark,
Thanks for the feedback. So it is working as it should again, I understand.
It is possible that the N2 indeed remembers the last measured value. And the value is only refreshed when the pressure measurement changes. It is also possible that the pressure sensors only send a value when movement is detected. This is to save battery power.

I have been struggling with getting the sensors paired all this time and just about gave up! Removed batteries, went for a ride, etc etc downloaded the update firmware three times in case that was the issue. But then suddenly today, started the whole process all over again and still no luck until!!! – I started pairing the rear sensor but had forgotten to put it on the tyre and as I was screwing it in while the pairing process was ongoing and BINGO hahaha it connected, so I quickly did exactly the same with the front tyre and it worked like a charm! I’m sooo happy 😀

      Hi Alison,
      Thanks for the feedback.
It’s good that you managed to get it working. So, placing the sensor on the tyre during pairing might be the correct sequence.
      Enjoy your N2
