I’ve installed the k6 on my Svartpilen 2025 125, to the front acc2 connectors. And when I turn the bike on (engine running), I can briefly see the wifi for the k6 in the innovv app, but when I go to connect, it just says failed to connect. Then the wifi disappears. When I double click the button on the k6 unit to activate the wifi, it does a continuous long and short red flashing and I’m unable to see the wifi. I checked the voltage coming out of the acc2 and it seemed fine. The DC converter shows a solid blue light.

I’ve inserted an SD card, 256gb, formatted to exFat.

I’m using an Android phone with a recent version.

    Hi Coran.

You will need to connect your K6 to a permanent live/earth feed. I assume your acc2 feed is switched with the ignition.

Can you connect to the WiFi with your phone at all?

I found the issue, in case it affects anyone else.

The power I was using was from an accessory line, so already switched with the ignition. But I needed the yellow wire hooked up to the positive as well. I guess it was on some timeout without the yellow and turned itself off after 30s or so.

Red and black wires should be connected to battery or other permanent power point.

Yellow wire should be connected to a switched live feed, so that the K6 can switch on and switch off correctly with ignition.

    Hi Coran,
You’re getting power from an accessory connection; this connection might not be able to supply enough power. If it can’t supply enough power, the K6’s Wi-Fi module will switch off. The yellow wire should always be connected to a switched power supply, and the red and black wires to a continuous power supply.

Just to say that I had an issue where I could not connect to the wifi despite everything seemingly woking fine. It turned to be the VPN active which prevented the connection. So make sure you have the VPN turned off before connecting if this is your problem.
