Hi Cameron,
I think this is only intended for data transfer and not to power the N2. I don’t have an N2 myself, so unfortunately I can’t test it myself.
But if the N2 can be powered by USB, you’ll need a power supply that can provide sufficient power.
If you manage to power the N2 via USB, please let me know.-
Thanks for the reply, Hans. I tried powering it with a suitable battery which displayed that it was outputting 9.9v, but the unit didn’t power on. Having said that, I haven’t updated the firmware yet. So, I’ll powering it up with the bike battery first and get it updated.

Hello, you can power the N2 using a USB port on your motorcycle,
but only if that USB port provides enough power(typically 5V/2A or more), and only for basic functions like CarPlay.
We advice to power the N2 using its dedicated 12V power input, not just USB.
If using USB power, water ingress into the data port and memory card slot may damage the device. Therefore, avoid using USB power while riding in rainy weather.
The USB port of N2 is for debugging software and can be used for power supply, but it cannot be plugged into a computer to transfer data.

Hi Innovv,
Thanks for the info. This clarifies the USB port.
I assume the same applies to the N1?-
Hello Hans, the N1 does not have a USB port, while the N1 Pro has a USB TypeC port. Yes, the properties are the same.
