Use 3rd eye with original bmw r1300gs module
Hi is there any way to use the 3rd eye radar with the original bmw setup? So instead of the square bmw radar unit using the round 3rd eye radar and connect that to the original bmw connector? Anyone tried this?

I don’t think this will work. Since we’re talking about two different brands of equipment.
Generally, BMW uses a CANbus system, while Innovv works completely differently. The radar sensor’s structure is also completely different, so the calculations based on the radar unit’s readings will also be completely different.
It’s not as simple as replacing one bulb with another😉. -
Thats a pitty. Would be great if it could be done because that square radarunit is a little harder to fit somewhere else.
I know not all functions will work because te innovv has more funtions than BMWs radarsystem. If its just about cutting and connecting the right wires to have LCW ( lane change warning) working it would make an excellent solution.
