I just installed a new K6. When one turns the motorcycle on, what is supposed to happen with the indicator lights? It starts with blinking red, then blinking green and then seems to shut off. The card is writing all along. Does the green indicate that its trying to connect to my phone? In addition, I have a 126 GB card, and it seems to want to cut off my recordings after 0.5 M. I have a 3 min loop turned on. Is there no way to have continuous recording for the trip duration or max card, or does the 3 min loop cut it into segments?

    Hello Bert.

How have you wired in your k6? (USB or supplied power converter?)

At start up the k6 should start recording (red light) and enable WiFi (green light). Check the instructions to see what the light sequences signify.

You can change the length of recording loop in the app, but 5 mins is longest. This makes the files easier to play and download.

    Hi Bert,
Have you read the user manual yet?
Do both the green and red LEDs turn off? Or only one of the two? If so, which one?
It is also possible that the K6 is not receiving enough power. If this is the case, the K6 switches off when the Wi-Fi module is enabled. This is because the Wi-Fi module requires more power, and if this is not available, the K6 switches off.
During normal use, the K6 records continuously in segments of the ingested time, so in your case, 3 minutes. When the SD card is full, the oldest recording is deleted to make room for the newest recordings.
Make sure to format the SD card using the Innovv app.

Adam and Hans, thank you for your replies. As it turns out, everything is in order. One of my problems is living in AZ. It’s hard to see the LED info, especially while riding, because of the bright sun. Yes I read the included info sheet. But that is what it is, an install and ref sheet. The system is working as intended.
