I have just downloaded a batch of videos from my camera (copied from the card to my laptop) and none of the videos are playable. I have tried various players (vlc, media player and potplayer) and none work.

File info says it is a mp4 and shows a size of 53mb. Media info showed no info at all about the video.

The card is a decent quality one that was used on a eufy camera before (I formatted it first)

Very frustrating as someone did a very dangerous manoeuvre and I wanted footage of it

    Hi Andrew,
Did you format the SD card on a computer or in the K7 using the app? An SD card that wasn’t formatted via the app can sometimes cause problems. Can you read the SD card on another computer? This is to see if the problem is with the recordings/SD card or with the computer.
Does the SD card have a writing speed higher than U1?
Are the recordings visible in the app?
By the way, I think 53MB for a recording is small. What resolution and bitrate did you set the K7 to? These might be set to a value that is difficult/impossible to play.
When I look at my K6 recordings, they are approximately 100MB for one minute for the front camera and 80MB for one minute for the rear camera. This at a resolution of 2560*1440 P30 (front) and 1920*1080 P30 (rear) with the highest bitrate.

      Thanks for the reply

I cant remember if I formatted the sd card on the pc or not (I suspect I did)

I re formatted the disc before I had a chance to try and view the files on the app, so I will have to see if it works now.

The card is a fairly high u number ( cant check as its buried on the bike but U3 rings a bell)

Sorry for the delay, it has taken a few weeks to look at the problem.

It was the card that was faulty, I swapped out to another card and I could monitor it from the app. So all is good.

AS this card is only 32gb I shall buy a larger card soon.

    Thanks for all the help
