    Hi Bob,
    I don’t know what the lower limit is for how many volts the yellow wire needs. I thought around 6V, but with 12V you are sure to be fine. The yellow wire needs very little current (amps) to start the K6.
    If the red power wire can get 3A, the K6 has enough current to work fine
