I’ve opened a ticket with support (11 days ago) and they said they’re looking into it, so I guess now we just wait!

Screen is not damaged, trust me. Works just fine in carplay to select icons and is generally functional. It’s only this button which no longer works.

UPDATE: I remembered how to do the OTA update, and I’m up to v1.7 now.

NEW problem: The option to toggle the flashing LEDs no longer works. I can go to the settings page, and easily flip the settings between MPH/KPH, and also I can turn the “Rest Reminder” on and off, but the “LED” setting does absolutely NOT work anymore.

I can’t get the N2 to recognize that there is an IMG file which is a firmware update on the card.

Instructions say to power up, then insert a card with “ltmotor-emmc-20260618-1440×720-n5-rtl8733bs-release-a9128b6d31d44b2239a8b66311e84469.img” in the ROOT folder.

In a similar vein… are the cameras/sensors/power connections for the N3 cradle compatible with the N2 device connections? What I mean to say is: If I got the N3 with cradle, would I be able to disconnect the power/GPS/front/rear cameras from the N2, and hook them up to the N3 cradle? If so, that could be an attractive and simple way to upgrade.

I heard back from the man who writes/supports DashCam Viewer and he says that the Mac version uses the QuickTime engine to render video, so if QT cannot play it, neither can DashCam Viewer. Unfortunate. It would be nice if INNOVV could offer the option to write to MP4 files (with GPS data embedded), even if it’s not the ideal format, so…

Replying here so others can see: Apparently the .ts files play just fine in the WINDOWS version of Dashcam Viewer. On MacOS (I’ve tried two different machines) I get audio, GPS info, and a blank/black screen for video. 🙁

Last time I tried, Dashcam Viewer plays the AUDIO from my N2 .ts files, but not video. Will try again with a fresh set of files this week.

I found a “secure” arm on Amazon which is kind of interesting. If finger-tight, no special tool is needed, but once you crank it down with the supplied wrench, attempting to loosen the bolt just spins the outside of the bolt. Brand name is BRCOVAN if you search there. Let’s see if this forum allows photo attachments…

I just set up my N2 and was a little surprised that “Dashcam Viewer” couldn’t open the files. That was slick with my K3 files (but the K3 was otherwise a disaster for me in terms of usefulness).

Here’s hoping that between the Dashcam Viewer software being updated, or perhaps updates to the N2 to pick file formats, we can get this sorted. …
