I think it is sorted but I am not quite sure why it has worked.

After swapping plugging the front camera in to rear plug and It working I have now swapped the cameras around and everything seems to be working. The only thing I did see was when I rotated the camera it went off. There was a small twist in the cable but after straightening it the camera worked again. I am starting to think the cable quality might not be that good so if there are any twists or sharp bends in the cable the camera doesn’t work.

I will monitor it over the next few days to see if it keeps working

Just an update i re checked the wiring and due to the cable run i had to use the camera with the long cable for the front. The manual says this is for the rear so i swapped the plugs round to the front camera is on the rear and the rear is on the front and now it looks to be working and it is showing on the app setting page.

Should this matter?
