No problem. The knurled thumbscrews are a massive improvement in access to the connector and card slot.

Hi Hans – I test fitted the thumbscrews last night. Don’t order the black plastic ones, the heads are slightly too large at 13mm, and foul the body of the connector. The all metal ones have 10mm heads and fit perfectly! There is about half a mm clearance to the cable connector. They are easy to unscrew with the fingers and you can do them…

They are being delivered today, so as soon as I have fitted them I will update you with photos of the back of the camera. Here is the listing on Amazon. This is how I have the K6 front camera mounted on my Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. There is free access to get at the connector cover when I have the thumbscrews installed.

I found these thumbscrews on Amazon, they are M3 x 8mm, exactly the same size as the standard crosshead screws, but have a nice knurled top so they can be done up and undone using your fingers. I also found some fully stainless steel ones, I have ordered those as well to see which is best. I think the black plastic heads will be more discreet.…
