    Hi Hans,

I was able to debug the issue.

The unit is NOT shutting off AT ALL after the bike is turned off.

The video keeps recording and both cameras are getting hotter.

Also, The front camera LED is still slightly green.

As you recall the connection is directly to the Battery.

P.S I’ve also upgraded the firmware

    Any suggestions?

    Thx

    Hi Hans,

I was able to isolate the problem.

When I turn off the bike, the red light does NOT stop blinking after 30 sec.

Then (after 2-3 min) the main unit start vibrating and short bips are constantly occurring until it drains the whole battery.

    Any ideas?

    Thx

    Hi Hans

Thank you for the response. below are my answers:

Did you format the SD card with the Innov app?

Answer> Yes the SD is format and working properly.
Can you use a multimeter to measure whether the yellow wire actually becomes de-energized? Or can you physically disconnect it? Then see what happens.

Answer>I’ll have to do that and I’ll let you know.
When the yellow wire becomes de-energized, it takes a moment (about 25 seconds) for the RC6 to shut down. This is to properly end an ongoing video recording. So, the RC6 doesn’t shut down immediately when the ignition is turned off.

Answer> Let me see what happens after 25 sec I turn off the switch
Did you connect the red and black wires directly to the battery? Or are you using a Thunderbox, EZcan, or a similar solution?

Answer> Its connected directly with the Fuse that was supplied

    Thank you

    Hi Hanse

    Hi Arnon,
Have you connected the power supply correctly? Red and black wires to continuous power, preferably connected directly to the battery. And the yellow wire to a switched power supply?

AB> The wires are directly connected to the bat with the supplied fuse

Does this yellow wire lose voltage when the ignition is turned off?
Does the RC6 function properly otherwise? So, does it detect approaching traffic and record videos correctly?

AB> Yes its works properly during a normal ride
The main unit starts vibrating…. As far as I know, there is no vibration function in the main unit. So what is vibrating then?

AB>The main unit is not vibrating, its just bips. I can send you a video if you like.
    Can you re-flash the firmware?

AB> Yes I can and will do that
