    Hi Hans,
Thanks for your answer, but this is not what I am looking for.

We have 6 – 7 time zones here in North America, and this caused issued when travelling across the continent this summer. After emailing with support, it turns out that I need to connect with the Innovv App each time I pass a time zone border to make the timestamp on the file and in the video correct. Just connecting to the WIFI is sufficient, I don’t have to use Update Time in the advanced settings.

As far as I know, GPS only supplies time in UTC, and if the K7 uses this time source too it will probably adjust according to the current time set in the K7.

My suggestion of adding EXIF tags for UTC and GPS makes it easier to find anomalies in the time stamps, and I don’t have to open the file itself in a video player or photo viewer.

I recommend that you take a video / photo from your phone and compare the different of EXIF tag information with what’s in the K7 files (where there’s almost nothing).

You can get an EXIF viewer at exiftool dot org

    regards, H.
