Innovv has agreed there is a fault and I am exchanging it under warranty.

As I said in the OP, up until a few days ago it worked perfectly.<div>
I am more than capable of this simple install, and it is wired correctly.
I have done nothing to it mechanically to change any of its settings.
I have been caught in some torrential rain recently, but not for the first time.
Ergo it is a fault.

Yes, ignition on and yellow connected there is power, but only if I have the direct live connected too. If I disconnect the constant live then the unit will not record or turn on.
The USB that the switched live is connected to does have power with the ignition on.
I can only think it is a unit fault.

I have tested the switched live(yellow) wire which is connected to a switched USB under the seat, and there is zero power running through it with the ignition on.
With the yellow disconnected the K7 still records with the ignition off.
I have now contacted Innovv with, what I think, will be a warranty claim.
I will keep you posted on their response.
