With the ignition on the yellow should have power.
off = no power to the yellow.
But please let us know the result.

Look forward to your investigation results. Its the only simple thing I can think of.

Out of curiosity try disconnecting the yellow wire. This should only have power when the ignition is turned on.
If this stops the issue it. You could have a power feed to it accidentally feeding it when turned off, ??

Yes i bought them. Went around Europe and ended up taking them off for that very reason fogging up..
Possibly a good thing in dry dusty conditions,, to help stop a chip. But I’d rather run that risk albeit very low risk. There a good idea but don’t work in wet weather. That’s just my opinion.
Dry weather good.
Wet no good.

Hi john.
The red positive needs to go to the battery along with the negative the yellow needs a switched power, ie any aux fitted items not canbuz this will power up thd unit when ignition turned on, hard wired to the battery won’t drain the battery when no ignition on. The only time it will is if the unit feels movement ie if someone is tampering with the bike, this can be turned off in the app, say if you going on a ferry so it won’t drain the battery, ive just fitted the k7 to my Honda Crosstourer and no issues, I found a switched 12volt lead not canbuz and is fine.. if this helps.. cheers
