    Do you mean the converter or DVR LED? The converter LED remains active, flashing regularly. The DVR LED, which is red, does not turn on automatically. Once manually activated, pressing it for 3-10 seconds flashes and then turns off. That is, it does not activate automatically. The converter is installed correctly. The LED changes from a solid blue to an intermittent blue once activated by starting the engine, and turns solid blue when the engine is turned off.
