    Hi Michel,
I don’t have my K5 nearby, so I can’t check which setting I have for Loop recording. But I thought I set it to 3 minutes.
With everything connected to the EZCAN, does it now happen that when you turn off the ignition, the K5 immediately turns off? So not after about 20 to 25 seconds? If the K5 turns off immediately, the power on the red and black wire is most likely interrupted by the EZCAN. This will cause problems. Your SD card can become defective as a result, which can also affect the firmware.
The K5 must always have power on the red and black wire. Only the yellow wire may or may not have power, depending on the ignition.
So check your entire power supply circuit. And if possible, connect the red and black wire directly to your battery. The yellow wire may remain switched by the EZCAN.
The fact that the blue LED flashes when the engine is running and is on continuously when the ignition is off should be the other way around. A running engine should provide enough voltage (blue LED continuously lit) and ignition off often has a lower battery voltage (blue LED flashing).
I can’t say definitively that the rear camera has become defective due to a power problem, I haven’t heard this often on the forum. It is not uncommon for an SD card and firmware to become corrupt due to power problems. Check whether you can retain the settings with a different SD card.

    Hi Michel,
Overwriting the oldest recordings only happens if the ‘Loop Recording’ setting is set correctly.
How did you connect the power of the K5? And where/how did you connect the yellow wire?
When the ignition is off, does the blue LED on the power module light up or flash? When the ignition is on but the engine has not started yet, what does the LED indicate? And when the engine is running, what then?
Was the cable of the rear camera not too tight? A cable that is too tight can break due to the vibrations of the engine. Was there also no moisture in the connector of the rear camera? Is the rubber sealing ring still present in the connector?

    Hi Ian,
It’s trial and error to see how low you should turn the volume down.
But even if you turn it down it won’t get much better.

    Hi @INNOVV,
Is there anything else you can do for Richard?

    Hi Ian,
Try it with a lower volume setting. The K3 suffers from a kind of audio limiter which gives the sound the ‘swimming pool’ effect at higher volumes. It is playing with the right place on the bike and using the dead cat. But I think it will not be perfect.
If I compare the sound between the K3 and the K5, both on my bike and the microphones mounted in the same place, then the K3 comes out less well.

    Hi Richard,
Did you buy the H5 directly from Innovv or via another Innovv dealer?

    Hi Robert,
It is possible that Innovv just missed this. They recently rebuilt their website with a completely different look. I suspect that this is where it went ‘wrong’.

@INNOVV Can you please adjust this so that the latest firmware is available to everyone?

    Hi Nitro,
If you want to play videos in the app you can do this under ‘Camera Files’, for this you need a wifi connection with your K5. Or you can watch via ‘Local Files’, for this you first have to download the videos.
In which format is the video recorded, .MP4 or .TS?
It is possible that your phone does not have the correct video codecs to play the videos in .MP4 or .TS format. Try installing VLC on your phone and then see if you can play the videos.

    Hi Skylar,
Is the blue LED of the power module on?
Do you have the problem when the engine is not started or also when you are driving?
It is possible that if the supply voltage is not sufficient, the K3 cannot start up. Especially when the wifi starts up, this requires more power. If this power cannot be supplied, the K3 will restart.
Try starting up without an SD card.
You can also disconnect the cameras, GPS module or remote control one by one to see if one of these modules has become defective and therefore does not allow the K3 to start up.

    Hi Martin.
I am curious how the lens protectors affect the image.
In particular, whether more reflections and flare from the sun become visible.
If you succeed, post a video of a shot with different angles of sunlight on the lens.

    Hi Paul,
See the Innovv website for an explanation of how to update the firmware.
    https://innovv.com/pages/innovv-k7-support

How To Update K7 Dashcam’s Firmware
Copy the firmware (IN-K7-1.bin) to the root of theTFcard. (Please use 8 to 32GB TF cards and the TF cards should be formatted into FAT32 in advance.)
Insert the TF card into the camera and turn it on, when the remote control blue light and green light blink alternately, please wait until the lights are off.

*Please do not power off and operate the K7 while it is updating. After the successful upgrade, the K7 will automatically boot up and the red light will solid on. The firmware will be deleted once updating is finished.

    Hi Bill,
Always format the SD card using the Innovv app. Also if you have read the SD card in your computer and then put it back in your K7, then also format it again using the app.
It can happen that an SD card that has been read in a computer by the Innovv camera cannot be handled properly, resulting in recordings failing.

    Hi Nitro,
Did you format the SD card using the Innovv?
Even if you removed the SD card from the K5 and then put it in a computer, it is recommended to format it again with the app when you put the SD card back in the K5.
The videos are also not under protected or accident videos?
The IP address of the K5 can be 192.1681.254, otherwise you can use the command ‘arp /a’ with the command window. Then you will see everything within your network.

    Hi Tony,
Once you have connected your phone to the K7. Open a web browser and go to http://192.168.1.254
On the web page that opens you have access to the SD card. Maybe you can copy the firmware to the SD card this way.
I don’t know if the above works for the K7, but it’s worth a try.
