my k7 was going smoothly last year

Now, if I press one time or 2 times ( video recording or photo /picture) the gring light blink during a long long long time

No recording on demand with the remote….

I can access the DVR/recorder with the app without any problems

yes the WiFi led stays on. I played with different time settings etc

Will try installing most recent firmware.

Question : if I use a 64 GB SDCARD to update the firmware and format it with a 32 BG partition, will the k7 recognize it ?

I don’t have a 32 GB or lower one… as required.

Even if my k7 is configured to STOP broadcasting a WiFi hotspot after (x) seconds, it stays on all the time… I don’t want a HotSpot broadcasting my but during hours 🙂

As you said, the problem fixed as I got my Keyfob back

The issue was that the innovv app was the app was not able to show the video list…

Someone brought it back to some Pawn shop where it felt

Innovv support told me to give a try the viidure app

My 2024 season is approaching to an end but I used my K7 enough to say that I love it !!

I just installed 2024-10-16 firmware.

We’ll see if the problem comes back

I enable the setting that adds Long / Lat info to videos

But for I don’t know which reasons, this settings is not kept…

I have to add it back from time to time

Has anyone experienced that ?

I was not able to reproduce or pinpoint the sequence causing the following problem :

– sometime I stop

– turn off my bike (ignition and everything)

Do you happen to have a VPN app running on your iphone ? Just in case… Me I had to TurnOff NordVPN for the app to connect

Also, once it show as connected, I have to wait a bit 2-5 seconds before going back in the app to use click one of the icons. If I try to use the App ” right after the connection is establish”, too early, it fail.

formatted 32 GB SDCard from within the app and installed the last firwmare

Formatted a 512 GB SDCard from within the App as suggested

recorded a video and took a pict

I was able to access those from the App without problems within a few seconds ( less than 3)

Been taking care of my GrandSon for the last 2 days ( Kindergarden problem lol),

I will be able to test all that tomorrow (format from the app, etc)

When formated from my Computer in FAT32 ( 512 GB SDCARD) the K7 DVR can record properly and I can play them or see picts from my PC

But I can’t read the files/Folders from within the App

When I have a minute, I will follow innovv support recommendation and will format the SDCARD using the App and see if now the App can access the files.

For resolutions and config change yes, easy test

For file size (1m, 3m, 5m), as I can’t access files from my phone, that I can’ validate until I get back home (PC). Working on that file access problem with innovv… They suggested me to format my SDCard from within the App and not my PC

Note : Pict, Videos can be access without problems from my PC

– FRONT CAM : My R1250GSA already had some special bracket (LoneRider HeadLamp protection) but I was able to put both bracket on top of eachother. Now, My Windshield can’t go as low as before, but it’s ok it does go down low enough

OK I found !

We need to ” reverse ” the order of the numbers provided in the recording ( coordinates encoding)

And

add a minus ” – ” in front on the second number.

Example :

45.628020284089,-74.60758273159288

The info encoded in the video is : 74.60758273159288 45.628020284089

I tried to enter the GPS coordinates encoded in my Videos, into Google Maps and don’t endup atr the right place on the MAP (where the video was recorded)

Sorry to ask that noobie question but what is the right way to enter the GPS location info provider by my K7 into Google maps ? Tried different ways…

If I change settings / configuration, are those effective immediately ?

Example :

Suppose I had recording set to 5 minutes g ( around 500 MB per file)…

I ride. Stop and open the App and change it to 1 minutes files (recording).

Will the next file be 100 MB(1 minute) or I need to ShutDown my bike and start again the bike / device ?

1) IF I use the K7 parking mode

Isn’t there a Risk to drain my battery ?

I have a BMW R1250 GSA 2021 and NOCO NLP14 Batterry

2) If I have to Jump Start the battery for whatever reason, if I use the right NOCo protect, I guess I won’t damaged the K7 connected to this battery ?
