Hi, I feel ur pain mate. I’ve been trying for 2 years now to get mine working (Z900rs), I’ve replaced every component & rewired it twice. I’ve also spent a fortune on every variation of sd cards, following the correct procedure every time and yet it will not work. I have the same issues as yourself in that on initial switch on it works as it should but within seconds of pulling away the green light starts to flash slowly. There are no files recorded or saved.

If you find an answer, pass it on…

    Hi,

Right at the begining of ownership it intermittantly worked for a few minutes a couple of times but has never worked since.

    Thanks

    Hi again.

As part of my fault finding i isolated each component one by one with no change.

Perm live & switched live are wired correctly & showing >12.4v at idle and 13.8v fast idle.

    Thanks again,

    Tony

    Morning hans,

Yhe green light flashes slowly all the time, probably at the rate of 1 per 2 seconds.

I have re flashed the firmware several times using correctly formatted cards.

I have formatted the cards using the app, a laptop & my phone.

I have used several different high quality, high speed cards.

All wiring has been re installed with connections all secure

I dont think so, the card automatically overwrites the oldest files once full. The exception being the protected files.

    Hi,

The only way to empty all folders including saved / locked files is to format the sd card via the app.

Files are locked only when an incident occurs dependant on the shock sensitivity settings.

    Hi,

Check the silver connectors at the dvr. Despite the locking screw they can work loose.

Whilst there, it is worth disconnecting & re connecting all 6 cables, checking for water ingress ect.

    Hi,
You just need the edge of another sd card to push it in a fraction more, ur fingers are too soft for the final click

    Hi,

Thanks for that. Have tried this and once connected won’t find that http address.

Think I have only 2 options left. Find someone with a PC and try that or, post my sd card to a forum member for them to download the firmware then post back to me…

    Thanks,

    Tony

    Hi all,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you all.

New gps module received from Innovv, now fitted and all is working properly with the gps signal locking on within a couple of seconds and remaining stable.

    Thanks all…

    Morning Hans,

    Thanks for your suggestions.

I have tried all configurations but still no joy.

To be fair to Innovv their customer support has been excellent and we have exhausted all avenues. They are sending out a new gps module so hopefully that will do the trick.

    Cheers

    Tony…

    Hi Bob,

Its located face up in the rear plastic duckbill (z900rs).

No metalwork or wires in the vicinity.

    Thanks.
