I assumed it was to reinforce the back cover and to allow the two M3 x 8mm screws to clamp down properly without distorting the plastic cover. I mounted it with the cutout facing down, so gap at the bottom.  It still fell off when&hellip;</p>

I also found some fully stainless steel ones, I have ordered those as well to see which is best. I think the black plastic heads will be more discreet.&hellip;</p>

Even though you have to remove the connector cover as you would to access the SD to remove it, it is still easier to connect a USB-C to USB-A cable to the internal data connector as you don&#8217;t have to pop out the SD and put&hellip;</p>

Therefore, connecting the laptop directly to the K6 via Wi-Fi will not result in any speed improvement. The K6’s Wi-Fi is the limiting factor.</span></p>
<p>The fastest way is to insert the SD card into your computer and download the video files that way.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, the only way to download direct from the camera is to remove the rear plate and plug your PC directly into the USB connector beneath the camera. So not much of an improvement&#8230;</p>
<p>I agree it&#8217;s a bit of a design flaw.</p>

<p>I own a BMW K1600GT myself. <span>I took the switched power supply from the top case connector. I suspect this isn&#8217;t present on the RS1250. However, the license plate light power supply is also a good option.</span></p>
<p>The yellow wire draws no power, so this has no influence on the CANbus operation. Switching off can indeed take about 30 seconds on&hellip;</p>

<p>Thankyou for your reply.  </p>
<p>My bike is a bmw rs1250 with canbus .  And all the power goes off around 3o seconds after its shut off </p>
<p>But to be certain and avoid any issues . Ill connect red and black direct to battery and the switch live direct into the bmw . </p>

<p>The yellow wire is your control wire; it must therefore switch along with the motorcycle&#8217;s ignition.</p>
<p>If you do want to switch the continuous power supply, ensure that it is only switched off once the N2&hellip;</p>

<p>I have an oxford accessory junction box fitted to my bike . Which is connected to a switch live to initiate the relay to turn power on with ignition.  </p>
<p>When fitting the n2 can I just take the battery terminals off and plug into the port on the junction box . And will i still need to connect&hellip;</p>

<p>You can try powering the K6 via the USB cable.<br /><span>Make sure to connect a USB power supply/power bank with a capacity of at least 2Ah.</span></p>

<li><span>Press and hold the power button for a long time (approximately 30 seconds)</span></li>

<li><span>Restart the K6; the K6 has been reset to factory settings.</span></li>

<p>I have received your video files. Although the video files have a size between 12 and 32 MB, the content cannot be played. There is no video and no audio present.</p>
<p>Could it be that your SD card does not meet the specifications as stated by Innovv, requiring a write speed higher than U3? It is also possible that the SD card is&hellip;</p>

The camera turned on. I managed to find my way to the Innovv programme on my phone and it was connected. I went to &#8216;documents&#8217; and chose camera video files. There was a delay of about 5 seconds, then the entire list of videos came up, I selected one to play, on the phone, it cannot play it back -&hellip;</p>

<p>I don&#8217;t even try to look at the files on my mobile phone. I take the card out of the camera and download direct to my computer. I am reading your replies and writing to you on my computer.</p>

<p>If I tested it correctly with my N3, you need both the Wi-Fi connection and the belltooth connection to use CarPlay/Android Car.<br /><span>But it is possible that I was mistaken about that; I only recently started testing the N3 and still need to mount it on my motorcycle, so it has only been a workbench setup up until now.</span></p>

<p>My N3 is the BMW version without cameras. I have a separate Innovv system for the cameras (a K7 I believe).</p>
<p>So, I will only need WIFI for firmware updates.</p>
<p>Isn&#8217;t it odd that some &#8216;other&#8217; systems need BT and WIFI.</p>

<p>While loading the video, the phone must maintain a Wi-Fi connection with the K6. It is possible that the Wi-Fi will be switched off once the set time for the Wi-Fi duration has expired. If this happens while downloading the video to your phone, you may receive an error message.</p>

<p>To adjust settings using the Innovv app and download videos to your phone, you need to connect your phone to the N3&#8217;s Wi-Fi network. This is therefore the same as with the other Innovv cameras.</p>
<p>iPhones sometimes have trouble connecting to the Innovv cameras. The advice&hellip;</p>

This cannot be changed in the app either.</p>
<p>You can perform a master reset by re-flashing the K6’s firmware. If a  bug has crept into the firmware, it will be fixed. All settings will  then also be reset to factory defaults. With the default factory  settings, the K6 should create normal .MP4 files&hellip;</p>
