A bit of footage you don&#8217;t want over written but that doesn&#8217;t get automatically saved. That seems to have solved everything. It must have been a duff card, because I tried it in my drone (Mavic 4Pro) and it worked a bit for photos, but too slow write speed to capture ALL the photos. Given enough between taking a shot it was OK, those pictures taken a&hellip;</p>

<p>Like a sucker, I&#8217;ve been assuming that with an error in v1.7, the update/fix would be in a file with a newer version number.  Not so!</p>

<p>Thanks a lot, your reply put me on the right track &#x1f642;</p>
<p>It turns out the noise is caused by Wi-Fi interference. The buzzing/ticking sound appears when the Wi-Fi connection with the smartphone is active.</p>
<p>Since I don&#8217;t need to connect my phone during regular rides, it&#8217;s not a dealbreaker for daily use.</p>

Can you tell by the GPS LED while driving if you still have a fix?</span></p>
<p>To view the GPS information, you will have to open the file somehow (with an app/program). You can also use the free version of DashcamViewer for this.</p>

<p>The front camera can certainly get warm at a high resolution and bitrate setting, but not hot. You must be able to touch the front camera with bare hands at all times.</p>

The metal case acts as a heatsink. Once on your motorbike there will be a constant flow of air to help dissipate the heat.</p>
<p>I have recently used my K6 in Southern Italy with no heat issues.</p>

Otherwise files can&#8217;t be written and finalised correctly and so cards can become corrupted. </p>

It all seems to work ok and I can view and retrieve recordings via the app. I did notice however that the front camera gets quite hot after a few minutes of operation, the rear camera also gets warm but not as hot&hellip;</p>

<p>I understand the concept, but when I ordered it through H. from INNOVV on email, I was also not informed about how it was working. Also it does not say on the website, and it still does not.</p>

Step one &#8211; find the bad camera &#8211; one camera had a kinked wire coming out of the camera &#8211; that wire was broken causing the WIFI not to function. Replaced camera &#8211; WIFI started working. </p>
<p><span>But to find out if WIFI is working, disable the cell signal and disable all auto join WIFI signals&hellip;</span></p>

<p>Also, you would still need to manually stop the recording before power is disconnected in order to finalise the video file.</p>

When I switch it on, the USB powers up. Very normal. The camera just fails to start.</p>
<p>That converter you are showing cannot be used for my camera. I do not have a plug for the 3-pin connector(1). Only a plug for rear camera, and a USB-C plug.</p>
<p>You made this camera for a power bank ? Show me 1 customer who&hellip;</p>

<p>The USB version is intended to be connected via a power bank or something similar. So, for example, when mounting it on a bicycle.</p>
<p>With a USB power supply, the K6 does not start up automatically. After all, there is no switched power supply present to serve as a trigger for startup.</p>

<p>If you have installed the K6 on motorcycle, you should be using the supplied power converter. This way the camera will start and stop recording with the ignition switch.</p>
<p>The Red cable needs to wired to be a permanent Live. The Black cable needs to be wired to a permanent Earth. The Yellow cable needs to be wired to a Switched Live.</p>

<p>Anyone who has hacked the camera and found a way around this ? Is the motorbike version also with a USB port inside ? Because then the &#8220;ACC&#8221; must have a pin.</p>
