    Hi Peter,
I see that firmware version IK7.20241016.V04 has been re-posted on the site. NOW also with a 2.4G version.
The text of the changelog has also been adjusted somewhat.
You can download it here https://innovv.com/pages/innovv-k7-support

I have now reported the 32GB card ‘problem’ to Innovv. I am curious about their response.

    Hi Phil,
Good luck with the installation of the N1.
If the installation is successful, could you post some pictures? This might help other Cam-Am Spider drivers install their N1.

    Have fun with your N1.

    Hi Peter,

I found the firmware on this site, https://innovv-bikecam.com/innovv-k7-support/
But now it is no longer there, I just saw. Now I see the 20240514.V02. If you want the 20241016.V04-5G version, I can send it to you, let me know.

In principle, updating should be easy as described on the Innovv site.

    • Format an SD card (FAT32)
    • Copy the firmware file (IN-K7-1.bin) to the SD card. Do not change the name and do not create a folder)
    • Insert the SD card into the K7
    • Start the K7
    • Firmware update is performed automatically (may take a while)
    • K7 starts automatically after updating.

Well, every brand has its own procedures for updating. It is easier for one than for the other.
You did it. If you have any questions, let me know.

    Have fun with your K7

    Hi Malcom,

If you press twice, you turn on the wifi for the set period. The green LED will then flash.
In your video you can see that a protect video is being saved. You have pressed the button twice in a
short time, but I suspect that one of the two times the button was not pressed properly. That is why
this is registered as a protect video.

If all else fails, you may also be able to perform a reset.
    Turn on the K6.
Hold the power button down for a long time (about 30 seconds).
The red LED flashes twice and then goes out again.
Restart the K6, K6 has been reset to factory settings.

Another possibility is that the power supply cannot supply enough power. If this is the case, the wifi will also cause problems. My experience is that with a power supply that is too ‘weak’, the wifi is the first to be switched off.
How do you power your K6?

    Hi Peter,
You’ve at least made some progress🙂.
I’d like to hear when everything worked out and the K7 is working as it should.

    Hi Malcom,
How fast does the red LED flash. If it flashes fast it can indicate an error with the sd card.
Try formatting the sd card again and flashing the firmware again.
Flashing takes time, see the video of what to expect from the LEDs during flashing https://youtu.be/8TTqGh55LyY

    Hi Peter,
You might be able to reload the firmware in the K7. Because if you have the exact same problem on both your phone and iPad, it seems to me that the problem is in the K7.
The changelog of the latest firmware version states ‘improve the issue of the app not displaying the video list.’

    Hi Phillip,
The cameras of the N1 and the K3 have different connectors. These will probably not fit together.
In addition, the CMOS (heart of the camera) is also different. I suspect that you cannot interchange them. The K3 CMOS is a Sony Starvis 291. The N1 has a Sony Starvis IMX307.
So you will have to Google yourself whether these are technically interchangeable. Whether the firmware of the N1 is suitable for this….. I suspect not.

    Hi Peter,
Could it be that your phone doesn’t have the right drivers to play MP4 files?
Do you have another app on your phone that you can use to check if you can play MP4 files? Try downloading VLC (Videolan.org) and see if it works now.

    Hi Peter,
In which folder are the videos and photos stored? Can you see this on your iPad?
It is possible that the accident sensor is set too sensitive (G-sensor) and that is why the recordings are stored in the accident folder. Use the app to look in all these folders, see attached image.

When you connected your iPhone, in which folder did you look? In the Camera Files folder or in the Local Files folder?
You can only view Local Files if you have downloaded files from Camera Files first.
You can only view Camera Files if you have a wifi connection with the K7.

Sometimes iPhones have problems connecting to the Innovv cameras. It is then recommended to put the iPhone in Airplane mode and then manually connect the wifi to the iPhone. But I don’t think this is the problem with your K7.

    Hi Don,
You see, the Innovv cameras always come in handy for unexpected moments. And it also saves money🙂.
A tip for a better night image: aim your camera a little lower so that the illuminated part at the top of the image does not appear in the image. This will make the dark part of the image clearer.

    Hi Rick,
Do you have the possibility to test with another Android phone? This is to rule out that the problem is with your phone.
If I remember correctly, you can also perform a reset with the button on the DVR. Hold this button for about 10 seconds. I think everything is then reset to factory default. It is possible that the wifi code is not reset this way.
You can format the SD card in your computer. Format it as FAT32. As soon as everything works again, you can format the SD card again with the app.

    Hi Rick,
Have you formatted the SD card and reinstalled the K2 firmware?
The firmware can be downloaded here https://innovv.com/pages/k2-firmware
It could be that after 4 years the SD card has become corrupted by all the read and write actions. This could also affect the firmware.
‘After things get complicated’, what happened then that made it complicated?
‘I have to enter the password but the one to open my laptop screen’, are you trying to connect with your laptop and not with your phone?
Have you tried giving the app all rights on jetefeloon? Settings – apps – Innovv – permissions.

    Hi Herman,
    Thanks for sharing your video.
Also here the proof that the H5 functions well in less weather conditions.
As a tip I would like to give to switch on the EIS image stabilization once. You will see that the image becomes calmer, less shaking

    Hi Terry,
If the camera starts blinking slowly, are recordings still being saved? Because blinking slowly would mean that a recording has been saved as ‘protected’. Because a factory reset is also performed, it seems to me that there could be a problem with the remote control. Because you can protect a recording with the remote control, but also perform a factory reset. Check whether the button on the remote control is functioning properly or is not stuck. Also check whether the plug of the remote control is properly connected and whether there is no moisture in it. There should be a small orange rubber ring in the connector to keep it waterproof. Also check this again with the front camera.
You can swap the front and rear camera to see whether the camera failure moves to the back. If so, then this problem is in the camera itself and not in the DVR.
Also check whether the power supply is sufficient. A supply voltage that is too low can also sometimes cause strange problems.
As a final tip, try updating the firmware again, if possible with a 32GB card.
