Is there no visible damage to the mount that would prevent the N2 from clicking properly?

I certainly wouldn’t use graphine powder because it is conductive. So, if too much graphite powder remains, you could cause a short circuit between the electrical connections. With GT85, there is a chance that dirt will stick to it again. In principle, the N2 BMW should click into place normally without requiring too much force.

That is always the risk when you buy something. For example, if you buy the latest iPhone model today, you will see that a new model is launched tomorrow.
Manufacturers are not going to wait until everyone has bought a specific model. At Innovv, too, developments simply continue.

I think that if you are a handy technician who knows something about electronics, you should be able to pull this off. I am therefore very curious about the result. You could use the signals from the ThirdEyes display as input for the AIM MXS. Do pay attention to the voltage level the Third Eye provides and what you can use as input on the analog input of the dashboard.

I rely on the Innovv website as the source of info about the N2, and according to their website, it is only possible via the SD card.

Maybe I’m overlooking it, but where did you read that the N2 can get a firmware update via the app? Do you have a screenshot or a link for me where this is mentioned?
As far as I know, the N2 cannot get a firmware update via the app.
The Innovv website only mentions an OTA firmware upgrade. But it doesn’t say that this has to be done via the app. There is also no further explanation provided regarding the OTA firmware upgrade.
Additionally, under support, it only mentions how to perform a firmware upgrade using an SD card.

I had this problem with the N1 as well. I removed the batteries from the sensors for a few minutes. Then I put the batteries back in and placed the sensors on the tires. After that, I started the pairing process and went for a drive while it was pairing. This was the solution for me.

The strong point of the Innovv camera, and therefore also the K6, is that it works without a phone needing to be connected.
If you connect the K6 according to the manual, it will switch on and off simultaneously with the engine ignition. The Wi-Fi connection is only needed if you want to adjust settings or download videos.

The reason the K6 doesn’t start recording immediately as soon as the ignition is turned on is because it needs to boot up the software first. It’s just like a computer; it also needs a little time. Fortunately, it takes about 25 seconds. So take two deep breaths before you start driving and the K6 will be booted up. Turning it off also takes a moment. The ongoing video recording must be closed before the K6 can switch off.
The fact that it takes time to start up and shut down applies to every Innovv camera.

Unfortunately, the K6’s Wi-Fi connection isn’t super fast. The fastest way to download videos is and remains reading the SD card using the computer. Be sure to format the SD card afterwards using the Innovv app. It can sometimes happen that an SD card that has been read is no longer properly recognized by the K6.
The camera does not record while downloading.
Wi-Fi Active Duration: This sets how long the Wi-Fi module remains active. Wi-Fi is switched off after the set time.
Gravity Sensor: This sets the sensitivity for accident recording. So, in the event of a hard shock/tap/vibration, the ongoing recording will be protected against overwriting.
Taking a photo: I believe this involves briefly pressing the button. But you will have to test that out yourself.
The firmware version of the K6 is listed in the app under settings at the bottom. See also the manual.
The latest firmware version is IK6.20231107.V1.0.01

I have no experience with CPFMs. If I understand correctly, the CPFM overrides the Wi-Fi connection with the K7; is that correct?

On an Android phone, you can specify whether your phone is allowed to connect to a Wi-Fi network automatically or manually: Settings > Connections > The Wi-Fi network in question > Automatically connect (on/off).

This might be a solution. Okay, it’s not ideal, but then you are in control of which Wi-Fi connection your phone connects to.

If you read the SD card using a computer, it is advisable to format it using the app after placing the SD card back into the K6. It can sometimes happen that an SD card read on a computer is no longer properly recognized by the camera.

Downloading via Wi-Fi:
The camera will never connect to a Wi-Fi network itself. The camera acts as a network itself (Wi-Fi hotspot). You must also ensure that the camera remains on during the download. The motorcycle’s ignition must therefore remain on for the entire duration.

If you want to download a single (few) file, you can do so via Wi-Fi to your phone. If you are going to download many/larger files, read the SD card on your computer. The K6’s built-in Wi-Fi is actually too slow to download many/large files.

Hi Arnon,
I assume that you connected the power supply yourself and that this was done correctly. If it was connected by someone else, please check (with a multimeter) if the yellow wire loses voltage when the ignition is turned off. I am starting to suspect that there is something wrong with the power supply, particularly regarding the yellow wire.

To rule out whether one of the RC6 components is defective and thus causing the malfunction, you can disconnect the component one by one and then check if the camera functions correctly and switches on/off via the ignition.

Additionally, you can perform a master reset by re-flashing the firmware.

can you measure with a multimeter how much current (amps) the N2 draws when it is switched off? Does this consumption remain the same when the N2 is switched off?

Do you have more info? For example, what have you already tried yourself? Are you testing with one SD card on both motors, or do you have the same problem with two SD cards? Does the SD card meet the specs set by Innovv, and so on and so forth.

In short, the more info, the better we can help you.
