Hi Maurizio,
I suspect that the SD card is causing problems.
Do you want to format your SD card using the Innovv app. Then make new recordings and see what happens.
You should also keep in mind that the K7 is set to 2.4G, so transferring videos can take longer. This also means that it takes longer for them to become visible in the app under camera files.
The larger the video files, the longer it takes to send them. If the K7 is set to 2.4G, you could switch to 5G. -
Hi Maurizio
Question 1:
Have you recently changed anything on the K7 or on the phone?
How do you try to watch the videos. Describe step by step what you do.Question 2:
Regarding your audio problem, with which program do you play the videos?
What have you checked yourself? Please provide as much information as possible for both questions and explain what you have tried yourself.

Hi Michael,
Your phone is probably already connected to another wifi network and will not search for another wifi network (Innovv Wifi). Unless you set all other wifi networks to not connect automatically and only set the K6 wifi as auto reconnect. Maybe it will work then, but then your phone must first lose the connection to the existing connection. You must then also always manually connect the other wifi networks. -
Hi Jean,
Automatically starting the recording is one of the key features of the K7. This is controlled by the yellow wire.
Why would you choose to start and stop the recording yourself? It will happen to you that you forget this once and then miss that one recording that you did not want to miss.
You cannot start/stop the recording via the remote control. This is only possible with the app. Or you have to place a switch in the yellow wire. -
Hi John,
Since the K6 only has a 2.4GHz wifi connection, the transfer speed is not high. If you have video recordings that are somewhat larger in size (higher resolution, longer loop recording), it can indeed take a bit longer for the app to show the recordings.
In my opinion, the wifi connection is only useful for adjusting settings with the app. For quickly viewing multiple recordings, the wifi connection is simply too slow. -
Hi Eduard,
I assume that you have set both K6s the same.
If the microphone input were blocked, you should still hear on the recording that you are tapping the housing with a hard object. The microphone input is a small hole, so it can quickly become clogged with dirt.
You could still perform a hard reset:- Switch on the K6
- Press and hold the power button for a long time (about 30 seconds)
- The red LED flashes 2x and then goes out again
- Restart the K6, K6 has been reset to factory settings.
If necessary, flash the firmware again after this reset. If you still have no sound, then I think there really is a technical problem with the microphone.

Do you have a VPN active? If so, turn it off.
Can you connect to your K3 with another phone (maybe an Android)? This is to find out if the problem is with the K3 or the iPhone. -
Hi Carlos,
It is true that the cameras can get warm. But as warm as you measured is not good. You can always disconnect a component to see if this solves the problem. If so, then the component in question may be the cause of the problem.
In any case, I advise you to contact the seller of the RC6 to claim this under warranty. -
Hi Andrei,
Too bad the DVR broke.
Since your K7 is not even a year old, you can try to claim it under warranty from the seller of the K7.
Hopefully you will have a working K7 again soon. -
Hi Andrei,
Try to connect the K7 directly to your battery.
You can also disconnect component by component (remote control, front camera etc…) to see if one of these components is defective and blocks the K7 from starting.
To find the cause of the fault you will have to try a few things. -
Hi Andrei,
It seems that only the remote is not working. After all, it is still recording if I understand correctly.
Have you checked the connector of the remote control to see if it is properly connected and if it is also dry on the inside?
What if you get the power supply directly from the battery, so not via the RDC unit? -
Hi Rico,
When you play a video in DV and you click on CRTL+4 (map screen) does a screen with a map not appear? It could be that the screen with the map is outside the layout of your screen. Then try CTRL+8 (cleanup).
To check whether a video contains GPS data, you can click on the downward pointing arrow with ‘DATA’ at the top left during playback. A popup ‘Data Browser’ will then open. From the available tables you should be able to deduce whether GPS data is present. -
Hi Nigel,
Do you have a VPN connection turned on? If so, turn it off. -

Good that it works with the Android phone.
Now to find out why it goes wrong with the iPhone. Is there no virus scanner/firewall active on the iPhone?
